The program works with Hikvision fingerprint devices that support network connection; check your model with our team before buying. The main computer reaches the device over the same company network and pulls the punches from it automatically. No internet is needed for that.
1Plug the device into the company network
Connect the fingerprint device with a network cable to the same router or switch the main computer uses, and turn it on. The device and the main computer must be on the same network.
Devices are connected from the main computer, because it keeps the data and pulls the punches.
2Allow the program on your private network
During installation Windows asks whether to allow “Sitekoom Attendance (LAN)” on the network. Allow it, and make sure the company network is set to “Private”, not “Public”, in Windows.
If you refuse this request the computer can't reach the devices or the other computers. Contact us and we'll help you allow it again.
3Find the device from the devices screen
Open the fingerprint devices screen in the program and choose to search the network. The program lists the fingerprint devices it found on your company network; pick yours.

The fingerprint devices in each branch: online, how many people are enrolled, and the last pull · Arabic interface 4Or add it by its address yourself
If the device doesn't show in the search, add it yourself and type its network address, numbers like 192.168.1.20. You'll find this address in the network menu on the fingerprint device's own screen, or from whoever installed the device.
Ask whoever set up the network to fix the device's address so it doesn't change after the router restarts.
5Choose the device's branch and save
Choose the branch the device is in. If the program asks for a user name and password, type the ones set on the fingerprint device itself when it was installed, then save.
6Check that punches arrive
Ask an employee to clock in, then open the punch movements: the punch shows with its time within a few minutes. Devices keep recording attendance even while the computer is off, and the device keeps its record, so the punches reach the program once the computer is on.
7Each device counts towards your subscription
Each fingerprint device counts as a device in your subscription, like an extra computer. If you reach the allowed number, the program refuses only the new device and shows “Request more”; the devices you have keep working.
