Several people in the company can work in the program at the same time from different computers. All the data stays on the main computer; the other computers connect to it over the company network, encrypted.
1Install the same version on the second computer
Download and install the program on the second computer, the same version as on the main computer. Both computers must be on the same company network.
2On the main computer: press “Add a computer”
On the main computer open Settings → Network → “Add a computer”. A “Pairing code” of 8 characters shows, valid for 10 minutes and for one use only.
Computers are added by the Super Admin, or by someone with the permission to manage network computers.
3On the second computer: choose “Secondary computer” and type the code
On the second computer choose that it's a “Secondary computer”, pick the main computer or type its network address, then type the pairing code before the ten minutes are up.
Five wrong tries cancel the code. Get a new one from the main computer.
4Compare the characters on both screens
Each computer shows a short set of characters. Make sure they're the same on both before you continue; that makes sure you're connecting to your company's computer and no other. If they differ, stop and contact us.
5Sign in with your account
Once paired, each person signs in with their own account and password and sees only what their permissions allow, just as on the main computer.
The main computer must stay on, because everything you enter from the second computer is saved on it.
6If a message asks you to pair again
If “This computer isn't paired” or “The main computer's certificate changed — pair again” shows, get a new pairing code from the main computer and repeat the steps. The manager can also unpair any computer from the main computer; it stops at once and its place is freed.
FAQ
Yes, each extra computer counts as a device, like a fingerprint device. The main computer doesn't count.
Check both computers are on the same network, that the Windows network is “Private” on the main computer, and that you allowed the program on the network when you installed it there.
