The POS interface is in Arabic; screenshots and button names are shown as they appear in the app, with English explanations.

One installer works on every store PC: the main device and any extra register. The program is self-contained (no .NET install), and your data stays on the computer — updates and uninstalling never delete it.

  1. 1Check the requirements

Windows 7 SP1, 8, 8.1, 10 or 11 (32- or 64-bit) and a 1024×768 screen or larger. Windows 7 needs Service Pack 1; the installer adds Microsoft's required update (KB3063858) itself, then asks for one restart. The thermal printer and barcode scanner can be added later.

  2. 2Download the installer

In your customer portal open the subscription and click “Download the software”, or use the link our team sent. The file looks like POS-SITEKOOM-Setup-1.1.0.exe.

  3. 3Run the installer as administrator

Right-click → “Run as administrator”, then “Next” until it finishes. On the main device keep “Allow other store devices to connect” checked if you'll use more than one register.

Windows SmartScreen may warn about a new file. Click “More info” → “Run anyway” if the file came from Sitekoom.

  4. 4First start: new store or extra register?

On the first PC choose “New store on this computer” to start the setup wizard. On any extra register choose “Join the store's main device” (see the lesson on several registers).

  5. 5Where is the data kept?

The database, logs and backups live in C:\ProgramData\SupermarketPOS. Before any database upgrade the program takes a safety backup automatically.

In the setup wizard pick a backup folder on another disk or an external drive.

  6. 6Updating later

Install the new version over the old one on every PC, main device first. All registers must run the same version.
